I have a pair of long muck boots which are the most comfortable boots I have ever had (I struggle to find boots to fit because of very big calves). I found these ankle boots slightly narrower and consequently less comfortable, but probably the most frustrating issue is grit/dirt getting in over the top and down into the boot itself. This means having to keep stopping to empty them.

Having had a previous brand fail on me, I thought I'd give The Muck Boot Co a try.
Ordered these whilst on offer
and they were soon with me and on my feet.
The fit is spot on, the comfort is great and they are lined too which adds to the comfort and warmth.
Typically I walk 6-7 miles cross country and these are great for that distance. Great for when you don't require a knee length boot.

Unfortunately the first pair I bought split on the seam - they were replaced FOC. But after only about 15 - 18 months the tread of the sole on both shoes came unstuck. I've had to glue them back on 3-4 occasions. Just about to do it again. I did not expect this after paying in excess of £100. Not really good enough. I'm sure you could get the same quality for a lot less money.

Perfect for a tough man with delicate feet! They slip on easily. Harder to get off as the contouring means there’s nothing to step against to get them off. But he will develop a technique in time. I have the RHS ones with vegetables on and love them to bits.

They’re pretty well made, comfortable and seem warm, though I haven’t texted them at really cold temperatures yes.
But are they worth the RRP of £125? Definitely not.
I paid about £64 for them in the sale, but that was more than enough. There are plenty of other brands available for around £60, so it’s definitely worth looking elsewhere for comparison.

My only feedback would be that the grip could do with some more refinement!

they are too narrow and the review questions are thus misleading.. although they are the right side lengthwise, they are too small because they are too narrow. Very disappointed. Man shoes should be wide enough for women. not sure why all people over 60 have to suffer. when I wa younger it was possible to select shoe width.

I finally solved my cold wet feet problem walking the dog., I don’t even need thick socks. Although these are essentially wellies, they are much more comfortable to walk hours in. Easy to put on and off. Would be great if it had a little more arch support but it is a wellie! I have a wide foot so needed a size up to get a good fit. Highly recommended

These boots are ok. My old boots were amazing and warm even without socks on snow! They are worn out now hence the 2nd buy from Muckboots. They are not warm enough, toes go cold in this weather. Quality is good however the boots rubbed the back of my ankle causing a bruise only after one walk! Let’s see if they get any better.

Bought these as I work outside, with circulation problem, I thought they would keep my feet warm, but after a full day, I couldn’t feel my toes. I was going to buy the full attic boots, but wasn’t sure of sizing. I will keep wearing them as it’s muddy, but not good for cold unfortunately.

Excellent! I’m a size 13 extra wide so they are just a little snug for me, but a 14 would have been just too big, other than that there great. Wearing them and walking in them feels more like a proper boot than a wellington (they don’t feel like I’m wearing a floppy flip flop), there’s far more foot padding and much better arch and heel support, and yes they are much warmer. I have a pair of the ordinary ankle boot, and I had to put and insole in to them, to make them more comfortable. This pair are comfortable right out of the box.

True to their word, these boots are waterproof! Tried other reputable brands for waterproof footwear and they all failed miserably. Would 100% recommend. They are slightly larger on the size scale, but I just wear a thicker pair of socks. Super comfortable and my feet never get cold. Wish I came across Muck Boots earlier!

In winter these boots have been great to wear on muddy trails ect. They are comfortable, I like how they wash off easily and slip on and off easily. I also like the style better than the other muck boot designs. These have held up well with daily use.

I love that they have these shoes, they are perfect for my job in the winter! Not too tall to where your legs are cooking hot, but not too short to let snow in, they are just right! These are seriously my favourite winter boots ever, and they have held up for 2 winters now! I ordered another pair just to be safe, in case they get discontinued, but i hope they never do! I will always walk into winters confident with these Ankle snow boots & a pair of tall ones just to be safe!

I finally had to put mine away this year since the snow is gone, but i got those new Outskirts lows(something like that) for the summer and they are really comfy!!

Good boots ...except for the insole
I like these boots and the quality is excellent apart from the insole which is poor. For a boot named "Arctic" you would think they would work well in cold conditions, however, my feet were extremely cold after a couple of hours on frozen ground and I felt it necessary to replace the supplied insole with the Superfeet REDhot insole which made the boots much more usable in cold conditions.

Proved ideal in the recent cold snap & confidence inspiring underfoot. I also recently purchased a pair of the Arctic Outpost boots recently too - again supremely comfortable & warm. To be honest wasn't really a regular wellie wearer but due to the comfort & convenience of recent purchases I'm a total convert. Beforehand I don't think I could/would have justified spending this kind of money on a pair of wellies but in this case I genuinely think that with Muckboots you definitely get what you pay for. Highly recommend
