The Arctic Excursion ankle boot is ideal for the city commuter. This stylish boot will keep even the busiest of men warm and dry from wet and slushy conditions. This winter boot is layered with warm fleece lining for those extra cold days when you need to keep moving. This lightweight wellington boot has combined an EVA moulded midsole with a rubber pod EVA outsole to ensure that your feet will stay comfortable and supported whatever the weather.

All Muck® Boots are constructed with high-grade materials and natural rubber. As a natural material, it is important your rubber boots are maintained and stored appropriately to help prolong their life.

The rubber and neoprene upper are very durable and clean up easily with tepid water to remove mud, debris and any contaminants. Allow to dry naturally at room temperature and condition regularly to keep the rubber supple. There are many examples of rubber boot care products on the market including Grangers Rubber Boot Care Spray.

For leather uppers use a suitable leather care product. Once dry, any woven/fabric upper panels can be gently brushed with a soft brush to remove any remaining mud.

Second pair of Muckboots that failed to last 6 months of dog walking. The first pair bought autumn 2022, a pair of RHS short boots split at the toe within 6 months; left one first after 4 months, patched up and the right one 2 months later. I put it down to bad design, it was spring and i got on with life November 2023 bought this pair of Artic Explorers. Heel has delaminated in less than 3 months use, and I was away for 4 of those weeks One failure I can accept but 2 suggests poor quality

These particular boots look and feel great I'm just hoping I don't get the same issue I had with the previous Muck product I purchased. Both shoes leaked with no obvious damage, maybe a gluing issue, not sure. The company I have to say were extremely slow to respond to my problem taking over 3 weeks to resolve it with very very poor communication. It was resolved thankfully with a full refund, so no complaints there, however I do think that the customer service department needs to improve. Finally I'm keeping my fingers crossed these latest boots remain watertite.

Product arrived with burnt soles! Must have been a production issue. Returned the product and took me three calls over a couple of weeks to get them to credit money back to me. Incidentally I bought another pair of shoes from another company that didn't fit and returned them. That company updated me on return status and credited my money within 3 days. Sadly bad experience with Muck and will not buy again.

I have used the knee length version of same boots multiple times in Antarctica and was keen to buy a shorter ankle length version for when you are not on a mission. They work well when being active in deep snow and up to -20 degrees, with 2 layers of merino wool socks. Do keep in mind they are not the warmest if you are stationary or for long duration in extremely cold conditions but then very few do. All in all great for moderately harsh conditions.

Perfect for working (I'm a gardener) in the cold. Was below zero outside but feet were perfectly warm and of course dry. Fit was a bit on the large side: size 12 and a bit looser at the heel but with decent thick socks on they were fine all day. No blisters. I wear boots about eight to ten hours a day. I work in a farm environment and have tried many different types of boot to keep my feet comfy, dry and warm. I have had these boots just over a month and have to say that I’m delighted with them. Even in the -15 temperatures we’ve had this past fortnight my feet have stayed at a comfortable temperature (nothing would have kept them warm!). I will be buying another pair when I’ve worn these out! How long that takes is anyone’s guess! I get through good quality walking boots (Merrells!) in about three months!

I loved the idea of this boot and I'm sure many will get on fine with them but I have returned for a refund. Rather than a full height boot cut down above the ankle I had hoped they would be tapered around the top cuff to conform to the anatomy of the lower leg and ankle, so holding your foot in place. So for me, a huge amount of empty space that left my heel swimming in and of the boot with every step, although the sizing was correct. They are lovely things and I'm sure they will suit most people.

I’ve never purchased wellies before. Had to buy them as I take my dog for a walk in the fields and my trail boots were getting caked with mud. I never thought wellies could be so comfortable, they retain heat quite well. They also appear to have a decent grip and have been holding quite well in the snow. Expensive at full price (£ 100 plus), worth that price if durable. I’ve only had them for a few weeks. Again for someone like me they are only useful in the wet winter months.

Not as durable as other models. Was hoping these would be a low version of the Arctic pro but the bottoms don’t have the same thickness and even with swapping the insoles for something sturdier it’s not what I was expecting. If you’re looking for something as a casual boot to keep feet dry in wet/snowy weather they’re perfect. As someone who spends 10+ hours a day on their feet in all kinds of weather I will be looking at another model. Hopefully Muck will make a low version of the arctic pro sometime

I buy boots all the time and have owned tonnes of muck boots. I bought a pair of these last year and I like them a lot. I build fences for a living and hike in the woods twice a day. In winter these boots have been great to wear on muddy trails ect. They are comfortable, I like how they wash off easily and slip on and off easily. I also like the style better than the other muck boot designs. These have held up well with daily use.

I can see that that is an issue so I use a shoe horn rather than the pull. I think MBC should look at this as it's obviously a design flaw. I am a size 10. I got 11 to account for thick socks and they are spot on with thick socks a tad loose otherwise. 10.5 would have been perfect for me but they don't do half sizes. Anyway. Yes I would highly recommend them.
