These replace my last post of muck boots (artic) which split and leaked at the heel and calf, and the sole was peeling off and they were only about 12 months old. Great care had been taken of them. It's too early to say, but I hope this different style will last longer especially using your heel Jack and conditioner. As usual, they are very comfortable.

This is my second pair having worn out both the inside and outside after 5 years regular use of the chore style boot. I’ve gone for rubber higher up the ankle which I was concerned might make them harder to walk up and down steep slopes in. They have passed the test, staying comfortable with 5 hours solid use on steep hillsides. They look smarter as well.

I tried the unisex tall wellies five or six years ago, after using cheaper alternatives… These are a much better boot, warmer, more comfortable and reliably waterproof. I use mine a lot so have just bought my 3rd pair though my 2nd pair are still doing dog walkies duty, lol. Cheaper boots in my experience are almost always a very false economy, they will wear out quickly and won’t be as comfy or reliable. The muckmaster sole is nice and thick like those found on a training shoe, so they are super comfy and protect your feet from rough terrain and also keep the cold from getting through.
Pro tip: after a couple of seasons i find the material in the heel wears through to the rubber, this can rub and become uncomfortable on longer hikes if you are wearing thin socks, so, buy them a size bigger so you can wear thick socks and these boots will last you several seasons. Buying them big enough to allow big socks is a good idea anyway in my book…
In a nutshell these boots are supremely comfy, genuinely waterproof and hard wearing. If you shop around you can often pick em up for under £100 which in my view is great value.

My main issue is customer service, meaning many different things. Ordering footwear is at the best of time tricky. Deciding the right size is tricky too. A size 39 for one make of shoe or boot can be perfect for another it can make and or feel uncomfortable, either too tight or too wide….. or too stiff. Muckboots appears to have no sympathy for such problems. You don’t want the item YOU PAY FOR THE RETURN!!! These boots are not cheap and making the right decision is as much important for the customers as it’s for them. The voice on the other end was as little sympathetic as she could muster. People who want jobs to sell on line need first some experience what it’s like to be the inexperienced clumsy buyer. Than we will always do business with you. But right now… NO THANK YOU.

My review is not as good as I would like probably because I am a size 7 1/2. I was able to try on a friend's much loved size 7 which was definitely too small so I purchased an 8. It is rather too wide everywhere probably because it is unisex. The sole is lovely and comfortable. Because the fit is loose they are a little tiring to walk in and are quite heavy. Be fair they are 8s. I echo another reviewer in that on smooth surfaces they slip so you have to be careful but on tarmac and muddy tracks the grip is excellent.

Ive put this boot through some tough times, muddy wet trails, wet rocky paths, submerged up to close to the top of the boot. Nice grip on my calf. Its a big boot so if your foot is narrow id seek advice from MB. Warm and mosdef waterproof. Go get 'em

These boots are fantastic for dog walking. My routes take me across plenty of fields that have poor drainage so lots of muddy puddles that afford gorgeous views so well worth it. I’m currently walking about 6 miles a day so need to regularly clean and wax. I’m giving these boots lots of work and I love them.

Good fitting, very comfortable boots, probably the best I have ever had. Unfortunately, the grip is poor on smooth surfaces such as tarmac and flagstones, especially when wet. Wet boots on a tiled floor are treacherous, which doesn’t bode well for winter conditions.

These boots are great for all-around hunting in all types of weather. The only issue I have is the heel wants to slip up and down and makes my ankle sore after walking in them. With that said , I still am satisfied with these boots overall!!!

Feel great on my feet, use these almost everyday and can usually get about a year and a half or two years out of them until they start to get holes. They do okay in the snow but don't seem to have as much grip as some other style boots

Cleats on the bottom of this boot are spaced far apart so dirt falls off better. But the tread is not deep. This boot feels better and is better than most other muck boots but the style on the side is horrible. People are buying this one over others because this boot tracks less dirt on the bottom. You can also use this boot in all seasons. Its to bad muck did a poor design on the side of these.

The Muckster is definitely a needed part of any wardrobe if you spend anytime working outdoors, whether that be with animals or in the woods. The sturdy sole offers goo traction and the high runner is helpful for deep mud or water and protection.

Overall boots are amazing, the only reason for a 4 star review is based on the top surface of boot when on foot, the top of boot is slightly loose around trousers when tucked in. Other then that it's warm it's cozy and they are lightweight. So no heavy mud tracking.

I've gone through several pairs of Muckboots over the years. They are excellent work boots for 3 seasons here, especially in the snow. This footwear is strong, rugged, and feels comfortable and warm. I have a pair of Muckster Ankle boots for summer wear. I currently have the Muckmaster Hi which has taller protection for the neoprene and reduces the chance of damage

Great boot! I am usually a women's 7.5, bought these in a men's 6/women's 7 and they fit well with a bit of room. Definitely do not need thick socks: these are SO warm, and will even make your feet sweat, but keep you 100% dry and protected from elements!

Love muck boots of all kinds. There needs to be a version more resistant to the muck of a feed yard. Here we are ankle/shin deep in bull butter or water often. Our butter is particularly hard on any boots. These muckmasters are bolstered more, up from the sole, than other versions, so I'm hoping that the usual a crack' or breech of exterior that has occurred around the ball of my feet, will be delayed for quite some time. Extra durability and or flexibility at points that a crease', or fold from toe bend would be great. Overall great boots!

The muck master were everything I thought they would be and more. Very comfortable and durable. I walk my dog for a few miles everyday and I barely feel any discomfort in my feet. Haven't had them long, but so far from what I've seen I am very impressed. Would recommend. My only complaint would be the time it took to process and ship. However, not going to let that effect my review on the product.
