So far so good with the Muck Boots. I only have them approx a month so yet to put them to the winter test. Very comfortable and very warm, even on the more unseasonally warm October days.
I would say that if you have larger calves (muscles) then go for something with an adjustable setting so the lower leg.

I had Muckmasters previously and thought I would try a boot with a hiking boot sole this time round. Very pleased with these. Can recommend particularly for regular dog walkers. Great grip in mud and very comfortable. Only thing I would add is that they are described as "tall" boots but are actually shorter than other "tall" boots like my Muckmasters. I assumed "tall" meant a standard height but that is not the case. Maybe divide your boots into low/medium/tall. Small point though, the boots are great.

I had no idea the 'cool' boot existed until I went on-line. I had check a local retailer for chore boots but size selection was poor. I am leary about purchasing things like boots on-line as sizing can be an issue for product to product. I lucked out with these boots as they do fit true to size (at least for me). So far they have been very comfortable to wear while doing outdoor work on our acerage during warm weather.

I previously bought a pair of muck original full length and they withstood torching welding being drug on the ground and hot molten slag hitting them and still no holes stay completely dry so I knew that the chores would be just as durable

Comfortable boot! Doesn't have a ton of ankle support compared to other manufacturers but the thin siding cooling technology give it great purpose in hot weather conditions. The boot seems is heavier than expected too.

The EXRESSCOOL Boots are exactly what you need for the warmer months of the year. They seem to keep my feet much cooler than my regular Muck Boots. So far I'm pleased with how they are helping with the heat wave we are going though.

When I first bought them I almost returned them unworn because they didn't feel very much lighter/thinner than my Wetlands, so I was concerned about my feet getting swampy in warmer temps. My feet stayed relatively cool and completely dry hiking around a swamp, so I'm pleasantly surprised and hopeful for even warmer weather.

Second pair of these boots. Wish they came in half sizes. We put an insert in them and they fit better though. Freest boot that fits snug to the calf without cutting off circulation. Important if you are weed whacking and don't want a bunch of grass down your boot! Super comfy and keeps feet cooler than the cheap black boots. If you need to spend the day in work boots, these are the best, definitely worth the price!

They are great boot the top of the boot is elastic so its tight around the leg to keep rain out i wish the xpresscool had a lighter boot but still heavy duty and more comfort for warm weather

Their customer help department claim that the refund has been sent but I have not received anything. I paid by Paypal so that is how I should have been refunded. I'm size 9 shoe, ordered size 8 as normal. Fit is spot on apart from left boot had a slight rub (noticeable rather than uncomfortable)on big toe but this has now gone after a couple of weeks. Bought for daily dog walks and am pleased with quality, fit and comfort. Would recommend.

Love these boots and bought to replace short leg chore boots that split after 5 years of almost daily wear. Disappointed that they now don’t have vibram Soles. The grip on slimy concrete has suffered as a result and I nearly fell over on my 2nd day of wearing my new ones due to this. Still great comfort and fit though.

I am very pleased with my new boots. I have only just received them in the last few days and worn them two or three times. They are smart and comfortable. I cannot comment on the quality. Sadly, from previous experiences of buying nice, expensive boots I have found the quality poor with seams coming open within a few months and letting in water. In my experience bog-standard, cheap wellington boots have generally lasted longer and served me better. I reserve judgement in the hope that the quality and durability of my new Muck boots will prove excellent. I'll get back to you in a year or two's time!
