All Muck® Boots are constructed with high-grade materials and natural rubber. As a natural material, it is important your rubber boots are maintained and stored appropriately to help prolong their life.

The rubber and neoprene upper are very durable and clean up easily with tepid water to remove mud, debris and any contaminants. Allow to dry naturally at room temperature and condition regularly to keep the rubber supple. There are many examples of rubber boot care products on the market including Grangers Rubber Boot Care Spray.

For leather uppers use a suitable leather care product. Once dry, any woven/fabric upper panels can be gently brushed with a soft brush to remove any remaining mud.

I have owned multiple Muck Arctic Sport boots over the past 10+ years, all have held up well and kept my feet warm. In the past I would have to put ice grippers on them during the winter because I live in the mountains and my property has a slope and builds up ice. My x-country ski boots have Vibram soles so I decided to purchase the Arctic Ice version this year and did not put the grippers on them. We had a strange winter, but I did not slip even after we had an ice storm.

These boots are very comfortable and warm, and the special winter tread pattern does indeed provide excellent traction on snow and ice. I have not owned these long enough to speak to any of the durability issues described by others, but if they hold up to extended use they are well worth the cost.

I've not yet worn these exact pair but, I've worn the same model for three winters. They have held up great considering I walk my dogs 8 km 6 days a week during those winters. But, Ive worn holes in the parts of the boot uppers just above the foot where they flex a lot. I patched with epoxy and it kept the snow out. But, time for a new pair.

The grip on these new soles are FAR superior to the the non-Vibram model. They're honestly the best snow/ice soles out there. Regarding fit - I have high arches and these do feel slightly tighter getting on than the Pro model. I usually wear 10.5 - and might switch out for the 11. Size 10 does fit - but a little snug, both on my the instep and the width...in comparison to the Pro model which fits more relaxed in a size 10. Over time, I would imagine the loosen up.

These boots arrived within a couple days after ordering and just before the big snows started to hit here towards the end of January. For many years I've been using my gardening Muckboots Which have virtually no tread or traction for snow or ice. They've worked well enough but I decided to get a more robust and weather appropriate pair of boots. Wonderfully Comfortable, and I have kept my feet warm with a single layer of wool socks for up to two hours in single-digit subzero weather. My only beef with these boots is the way the top of the boot curves inward To hug the upper calf. Anybody wearing these boots frequently may experience a little soreness but over time it will go away.

I knew this going into the purchase however, I didn't have any practical experience with the rubbing on my lower legs from the top of the boot. I would encourage anyone purchasing this boot to also have a thick pair of socks higher then the top of the boot to help mitigate the rubbing. I'm happy enough to just finish purchasing another pair for my spouse...with socks too.

I've been in search of some nice winter boots for a while now. I'm a big fan of slip ons and tried some of the less serious versions of competitors boots. I just recently returned a pair of Chelsea boots that were not up to snuff. My wife has been rocking a pair of Muck boots for a couple years now and I just recently took the plunge. I should have listened to her and gotten these a long time ago. They're warm, have good traction, are compliant when walking, and are so easy to get into and out of. I was worried about having to fight them on and off cuz I have a tall arch and many slip ons just don't. I'm able to step right into these and they come off with ease...often just by toeing the heel to hold them even w/ just socks. I'm extremely picky about boots and have spent a LOT of money on really good hiking boots in the past. These pass the test of picky. The size 9 is a tad roomy but not so much that it's problematic. I'm not running or hiking in these. A 2nd pair of socks which I usually do in the winter anyway makes it all perfect. Strongly recommend.

I am a dog walker and for years I'd tried, unsuccessfully, to find a light weight winter boot that would stay warm and dry all day - and would last at least one season. I think I've finally found the perfect boot. This past fall a fellow dog walker highly recommended these boots. Simply put, I love these boots. They're so comfortable, they give adequate ankle support and I can slip them on and off quickly when I need to go in and out of people's houses. More importantly, they are warm and dry and remain so the entire day. I don't even need to wear winter socks! I recommend finding a good pair of wicking socks if you're going to be out all day in these boots as hour feet might sweat a little.

So far so good, did what they were expected to do during last weeks heavy snow storm: kept me warm, dry and upright. Only challenge with them has been the rubbing that occurs on the calf, have tried softening up the boot top rim so we'll see how that helps.

I bought these for myself in the women's version tall and put shearing inserts in each boot, they helped fill the boot since I had to order up in size. I went ice fishing on the lake in snow and slush for hours with regular socks and a pair of boot socks, my leg went through a hole I didn't see......completely dry and warm!! I wear an 8.5 and bought a 9, perfect fit. I am currently waiting for my husband's size of these in brown for a Christmas gift! Highly recommend these boots!!

For digging out neighborhood street drain in winter, I need boots that are waterproof. Barn boots have been my go-to, but I end up freezing my feet. These Arctic Ice boots are perfect; after an hour of standing in ankle-deep ice water, my feet are toasty and dry. And, I have not fallen on the ice (at my age, mid-70s, that's important!)

Great boot and service from Muck. Well built and Ice grip gives great traction even wet ice . Traction is amazing in all types of snowy, icy conditions. unfortunately cannot agree on temp rating of-40. Even at temps just below 0C, I found these boots deficient to keep my feet warm. If you are constantly moving, maybe you can generate enough blood flow to keep your feet warm. For stationary activities in sub 0 C temps, I would suggest a different choice.
