All Muck® Boots are constructed with high-grade materials and natural rubber. As a natural material, it is important your rubber boots are maintained and stored appropriately to help prolong their life.

The rubber and neoprene upper are very durable and clean up easily with tepid water to remove mud, debris and any contaminants. Allow to dry naturally at room temperature and condition regularly to keep the rubber supple. There are many examples of rubber boot care products on the market including Grangers Rubber Boot Care Spray.

For leather uppers use a suitable leather care product. Once dry, any woven/fabric upper panels can be gently brushed with a soft brush to remove any remaining mud.

I've had these boots for about 2 weeks and we had terrible weather in Italy. I never took them off so they are excellent for very bad weather and very sticky soil. I will have to see if they resist.

The shoes are flagship quailty, but I can't recommend ordering online from EU if you don't know about the fit. Just ordering to "try on" is a pain since returns aren't free and you have to fill in customs reports because you are shipping something from EU to UK. Sending back my order was just a pain and super expensive. Look out for local sellers, skip the painful process of returning a misfit...

Mine are not super insulated but there is room to add layers or I can wear warm socks if my feet get cold and they didn’t get hot when I hiked in these boots recently.

These are basically the gold standard, We use them almost whenever we go out for birds and wildlife, and for gardening here. These are my third or fourth pair; they do have a lifespan, usually a few years for me with heavy use. We also have the Arctics, warmest boots we ever had, and use them as needed.

Chore boots replaced Edgewater II. Edgewaters were extremely comfortable and light. Could (and did) walk miles in varied terrain with the dog in these, but grip in wet mud not good and ultimately turned out not robust enough. Had Chores about 4 weeks. Not quite as comfortable as, and heavier than, Edgewaters; not sure about long walks, but better grip and tougher for more tasks such as gardening as well. Overall look a well made and robust boot.

I bought these boots for walking the hills in Shetland, I do water sampling so need to get into loch's and burns to take samples and can be walking up to 7 miles over rough terrain two or 3 times a month. I have also worn the boots for general walking the hills with my dog. I have been very satisfied with these boots they are warm and comfortable however this last week they have split and are now leaking, considering the amount of rough walking I do I still rate these boots as good but I would o liked them to have lasted longer than 10 months. I would rate them 8 out 0f 10.

I wear wellies all year round and for long periods of time. I have tried various makes and in different price bands. These are the warmest and most comfortable ones that I have had. They're instantly warm when you put them on, and cling to my calfs. They seem tough (time will tell). Walking a long way in them is effortless. I no longer need welly socks as well. Only minor downside - I wish that the came in half-sizes. I would certainly recommend them.

I already have a pair of these boots that I've been using for about 10 years. They are still in pretty good order although the soft top has suffered slightly where it continually flexes. I've been so happy with these that I decided to replace them with a similar product.
