We offer a variety of cuts and fits to accommodate a diverse customer base, and the exact sizing will vary slightly between styles.

As a US brand our shoes and boots are lasted and sized in US sizes. In recent months we have implemented a companywide revision of our size conversion to bring consistency to our multi-branded business. This may mean the labelling on the boots and/or box may differ from your order. However, your order will have been cross referenced with the US size in our conversion chart to ensure your boots should fit as expected.

If you are making a repeat order note the US size you have as the US size is consistent.

Unisex styles are built on men's last. For ladies with wider feet, we would recommend our unisex styles- as they tend to be roomier than women's styles. Our boots come in standard width D and are currently offered in full sizes. Most people who wear half sizes choose to size up for a comfortable fit, or adjust with socks in different thickness. The Arctic Sport is our mid-height wellington boot for extreme winter weather conditions. These boots step up the warmth factor with soft fleece lining and a 5mm neoprene inner boot for ultimate warmth in harsh cold conditions. The stretch-fit top-line binding keeps the boots snug to your legs to keep cold air out and warm air in, and provides the perfect fit for wide calves. As well as an EVA moulded sole for supreme comfort, these high-performance sport boots feature an added 2mm thermal foam underlay for extra warmth. For those extra muddy or frozen days, the outsole is rugged, durable and offers ultimate protection with double reinforcement on the instep, heel and Achilles area.

All Muck® Boots are constructed with high-grade materials and natural rubber. As a natural material, it is important your rubber boots are maintained and stored appropriately to help prolong their life.

The rubber and neoprene upper are very durable and clean up easily with tepid water to remove mud, debris and any contaminants. Allow to dry naturally at room temperature and condition regularly to keep the rubber supple. There are many examples of rubber boot care products on the market including Grangers Rubber Boot Care Spray.

For leather uppers use a suitable leather care product. Once dry, any woven/fabric upper panels can be gently brushed with a soft brush to remove any remaining mud.

Bought it to deal with snowfall here in Greater Boston. High enough to never worry about soaked socks, and water proof to tread in our backyard pond. Loose at the top so hard to run, but I think that's by design. Fairly comfortable for 1 hr+ of outdoor yard work in snow/rain/mud.

I’ll give you a true and balanced review… Size - they come up a bit large, but that’s ok as you want to be able to wear thick socks underneath. In normal socks, it feels like they a size larger than stated - eg a UK8 is a UK9 in reality. Grip - important one for me as it gets very muddy in the forests etc where I live and I’d say these boots and significantly better than my previous pair (similar look, different brand). You still slip on some tree roots and in some very wet mud on steep gradients, but I’m happy that they offer good enough grip for most terrain. Comfort - one of the first times I wore these on a 10km dog walk along forest fire roads, they ripped a perfect circle of fire into my shins and calves. Even with that all said however, it was a one-off and they’ve been comfortable ever since. My advice would be to wear thick and very long - almost knee high - socks for at least the first few times (I wasn’t when it happened to me) as that should protect you while you break them in. And as I say, one 10km walk achieved that. Price - yes they are very expensive for what is after all just ‘wellies’, and this put me off before I bought mine, but given I use them every day in winter I figured that ‘you get what you pay for’ probably applies here, and I was right. Providing they last, which I don’t know yet, I’m happy enough. There, hope that all helps…

My husband and I have worn Muck Boots for years and found them very comfortable. Unfortunately, this style rubbed my husband’s shins enough to make them bleed the first time he wore them. I contacted customer service and basically was told to wear longer socks & apply vaseline to the rubbed areas. We are very disappointed with this response

I am size UK 5 / EU 38. I also measured my foot length and based on the guide on the website ordered two sizes (5 & 6) expecting one to fit and to send the other back. The size 5 was HUGE. In fact it was labelled 39. I contact MuckBoots to point this out and firstly was asked for multiple photos as proof and once provided was told that they are a size 5. End of debate. What? A) they clearly don’t know what leaves the warehouse (photos?) B) they have no quality control in place with their manufacturers (in my entire life I have never come across a size 5 labelled a 39 and furthermore, I measured my feet…) and C) their customer service is appalling. Don’t buy direct from MuckBoots if you’re not sure on sizing. I now have to pay to send two pairs back.

Great boots, comfortable, warm perfect for dog walking and days out ok the beach. My only complaint is that after less than a year I have walked the soles through at the heel. I feel there could be a sturdier base used for the sole that would last longer. I've had mixed use from mostly grassy walks to trails but there are a lot of tarmac footpaths in this area so even the grassy walks require some hard standing. All in though too expensive to buy a pair every 11 months. ( How long these lasted)

I was so excited to be getting my new muck boots. However I have been disappointed with them. The fit is great and they seemed comfortable when trying them on inside the house but after three wears I got a nasty large blister on my right shin. This has prevented me wearing them for over a week whilst my leg healed. I have come up with a good solution though - I’ve turned the tops of the boots down to make them shorter. After wearing them a couple of times like this I can say that I now have comfy boots.

Bought these boots for winter £115 Had a ten pound pair of Dunlop wellington Boots for nine years they were good kept my feet dry didn’t split !!!!! Had the muck boots over two years they split inner side outside side both boots . I’m disabled I use a mobility scooter to exercise my dog I don’t walk anymore than five paces I bought these boots for the winter I have degenerative arthritis in my left foot , had left ankle replacement and seven joints fused in left foot and left heel surgically broken realigned I used these boots only for winter 4/5 times a week for 3/4 months kept them clean Kept them indoors . Im extremely disappointed with the quality price no value for money poor quality They did keep my feet warm considering my left foot comfort was the best I have yet experienced. In my mind these boots don’t do what they say on the packet I’m very exasperated at paying £115 for boots that have split leaked . No I don’t do cross country on my mobility scooter nor did I rip or tear them . They have just split ?????????? I always wore the Arctic II boots, but having had a bad experience of the soles falling off after less than 6 months wear, and being told by customer services this was considered "normal wear and tear ..." I decided to go for these, with the sole looking more robust. I need something sturdy, warm and with good grip as I'm a gardener and out in all weather's. These boots however are SO heavy! They're uncomfortable after a short time wearing them as legs and ankles ache. I persisted, but my ankles are now aching in the mornings before going out for the day, so I don't think I can't wear them for much longer. I'm really disappointed, both by my previous experience with the soles coming off and now this.

Unisex size 7 I also use I soles and even dou le up on socks using ski socks. I ordered size 9, my standard shoe size, for the Men's Arctic Sport Short Boots, and while they fitted well they were a little snug, a bit too tight with a decent pair of winter socks. I had a chat regarding sizing with a very helpful guy at Muckboots who did suggest that the 'unisex' sizes were usually a little snug for men's sizes. I ordered size 10 and awaited delivery so that I had the two sizes at home to compare. The 10's arrived promptly and are ideal. I then returned the 9's for a full refund. Even with the current postal issues and considerable delays, the whole process including the reimbursement, which was placed back in my account today, only took three weeks. Excellent and very prompt service. It might have been useful to have been advised on the 'unisex' styles that the sizing was slightly on the snug side for men and probably best to go up a size, especially as there are no free returns. That is the risk you take with online ordering. All in all very pleased and would highly recommend this company. Thank you.

This is my second pair of Muck boots which served me well. This time I selected your Men’s Arctic Sport Short Boot. When I wore the boots for the first time with trousers inside the boots the top of each boot rubbed against my shins on both legs and broke the skin. I am still waiting for the scabs on my shins to disappear. This is very disappointing. I am now wondering how best to protect my shins whilst wearing these boots in the future.

I used these boots to conduct climate research fieldwork on sea ice in the Canadian Arctic. They more than did the job and I had warm feet after spending whole days out in negative temperatures and with just a single pair of regular socks on. They keep the dirt and water out. They grip in the snow and ice. No sliding sideways, like you do with normal boots. They are extremely comfortable...... and warm. That's it.
