Super hard to manage purchase on line. I love thé brand. Have spent more than 300 euro with you in a year. Expérience is à disaster

Bought my Chore Boots directly from the Muck Boot Company in Dec 2022 and just a year later they had a big enough split in them to stop them being waterproof. See photo. Probably Muck Boots will say I needed to look after them better, but who honestly cleans and maintains such yard style footwear? I expected better for my money and note my partner’s Aigle wellies are still in good working order 4 years in. Others I’ve spoken to have had the same splitting problem with Muck Boots, so I guess it’s a common thing. Be warned.

Bought Chore Classic Chelsea Boots in Dec ‘22. As seen in the photo, by Mar 24 they have split right through, making them no longer water or mud proof and so no longer usable. I’d expected more for my £100. Don’t think I’ll be buying Muck Boots again sadly. Shame because despite coming up very big they were great for the mud and the wet, and for slipping on and off easily when coming indoors. Having spoken to other Muck Boot owners, splitting seems to be the main problem. I imagine Muck Boots will say that you need to maintain them well….but who honestly does that with their muddy garden boots.

I would love to write a 5* good review for these boots as they are easily the most comfortable I've ever worn. Unfortunately, despite storing, cleaning and drying them properly, after only 14 months of occasional wear, they are letting water in at the seams.

These were recommended by a friend, am I am not disappointed!
I have a high arch so can find 'Slip On' footwear difficult to get into especially wearing thick socks, and even more difficult to get off.
These Chore Classic Chelsea Boots are easy to slip into, but a snug fit once on, so good on slippery uneven ground.
Easy to get off too. I am VERY impressed.

I already have a pair of Muck Boots, the RHS Muckster 2 type. I've had them many years and the upper rubber was starting to crack and let in water. I hesitated before buying the Chelsea boots, the Muckster 2 needed a bit of pulling to get on and I thought that the Chelsea boots would be even more difficult but in fact they just slip on, much easier than the old shoes. I've only had them a little while so time will tell how they age.

The Chore has more of a welly fit than a walking boot/shoe fit, so one tends to walk out of it rather - ie the heel lifts. May have been better if I had gone down a size, but that might have been a bit narrow. It is much better with two inner soles in each. Probably due to my strange feet - low arch. They are very comfortable, and were always intended for gardening, not dog-walking. Easily tough enough for digging.

I bought two pairs of boots in size 10. The tall arctic boots are a perfect fit however the Chore short boots are a lot wider and my feet were flapping around in them even in with an extra pair of socks. I suggest find a local stockist to try before you buy as returning them cost me £8.

Great gardening boots, wide around the ankle for slipping on and off which takes time getting used to as they initially feel too big, but with some big socks they fit fine. Great quality too.

Nice fitting boot with all the protection and grip I need. I ordered my normal shoe size and found that the boot was slightly too large but I alleviated the issue by adding an orthodic insert

Love these boots. I wear them as a chore boot, slipping them on to walk around the property. They're comfortable to wear for long periods and slip right out, when I come back in.

Great boots, good grip, warm, sturdy (so far), used on regular dog walking & feel safe on all terrain, grass, mud, gravel and up rickety steps. The only down side is they are too big (I wonder if they are mislabelled), I have to wear 2 pairs of thick socks & even then there is room to slide. They would be absolutely perfect and 5/5 if it wasn't for that.

I would normally wear size 8.5. I bought size 8.0 in this boot and it still runs a bit large, but wearable. I had previously tried size 9.0 and it was absolutely huge. Had to return.

I have been wearing Muck Boots for 4 years. Just another model. Since size 46 is a bit too big for me I decided to order 45. Since there is no 45. I ordered 44/45. They are too small. Interesting, that the left leg. The usually it is opposite. The boot may be defective. One star for the fact that the boots looks exactly like in the picture. The other is that the boots as promised are waterproof. Disproportionate shipping costs.

Make no mistake, this is a very good work boot. I wanted a boot with a chunkier sole and these fit the bill. I also wanted something that slips on and off easily yet doesn't fall off when being worn (I'm frequently in and out of the house and I didn't want to have to sit down or kneel when putting on my boots). Again they fit the bill admirably.
The only grumble I have is that they seem just a little large; I'm a size 8.5 and the website advised "Half sizes order up" so I ordered size 9. Most of the time it's not a problem but if walking down a slope and I "put the brakes on", my foot slips forward a little bit inside the boot. Makes me wonder how I would have been if ordered size 8.
