UNSERE ORIENTIERUNGSHILFE FÜR WARME WINTER-GUMMISTIEFEL

OUR GUIDE FOR WARM WINTER WELLINGTON BOOTS

Our exclusive construction with a NEOPRENE outer layer is 100% waterproof, breathable and self-insulating. The NEOPRENE material of the inner boot acts as a "neutral carrier" between inner and outer temperatures. The naturally light and very comfortable material keeps the foot and lower leg warm and protected in cold and wet conditions.

This allows us to leverage the human body's ability to generate heat, while the insulating properties of NEOPRENE ensure a comfortable, warm experience. However, everyone experiences cold differently, and varying activity levels influence how we feel. Watching children play sports on a freezing February morning or spending hours fishing by the riverbank will feel colder than a long walk with an over-enthusiastic Labrador.

Our extensive product range features different neoprene thicknesses – from the 4 mm of our Derwent II and Hale boots, to our standard 5 mm thick products such as our Unisex Arctic Sport and Women's Arctic Sport II, up to the 8 mm thick inner boots in our Arctic Ice collection.

The Vibram® collection is designed for maximum performance in cold weather, featuring an advanced, grippy cold-weather system that provides traction on wet ice, while the full Vibram® IceTrek layer underneath ensures grip on dry ice.

All our boots with "Arctic" in their name also feature a fluffy fleece lining for added comfort and warmth. Cold typically penetrates the feet from below. By fully encasing the foot in neoprene, using insulating layers in the sole, and equipping all our boots with an antimicrobial insole, we ensure your feet are well-insulated even against icy, wet ground.
