I bought a pair of these for dog walking in 2019 from a local garden centre and after 14months they split on top of both boots. They had only been worn a medium amount of time and despite sending them photographs of the boot, showing the splits and sole to prove they had not been abused the "Muck Boot Company" ignored my letter and photographs and after an initial 'we will get back to you' response did not reply further despite numberous emails of complaint. I accepted that they were outside the 12 months guarantee but felt they should not have split as they did. I have concluded that their customer service is awful and I would never buy from them again as they do not appear to care about customers at all. I suspect they will not even post this review as it does their reputation any good at all!

Only had them a couple of weeks but wear them everywhere. I'm size 11 wide fitting and high instep but they were a perfect fit and warm. Bit of a cheek that we have to pay postage in the UK though as in the USA shipping is free!

Comfortable fit and easy to slip into. Sort of like an outdoor slipper. Nicely lined inside. Feels warm and dry on your foot not clammy like an older style rubber boot. Best shoe for taking the dog out for a walk in the rain or on a muddy trail.

This is my second pair of Muckster 11 Ankle. Great to wear in summer and winter. Easy to put on, works well and good traction in snow and on ice when walking. You still have to pay attention when walking. Recommend highly.

Bought for my husband and he can't stop talking about how great they are! Most comfortable boots he's ever owned. Keeps his feet completely dry and warm as well. Bought primarily for winter golf as we couldn't find any waterproof golf boots and they definitely do the job. Now he wears them everywhere!

Marvellous Mucksters
Daily walks across dunes, saltmarsh, estuary, to the River Ribble have taken their toll on regular walking shoes. Enter Mucksters! My partner is delighted with them. While I'm busy cleaning and re-proofing my footwear, he just washes away the salt, sand and mud with the watering can and his Mucksters are ready for the next trip. I'm going to order some immediately!

Excellent product - UK size 9 is spot on albeit a wide fit. But better slightly too wide than too narrow and I wear good thick gardening socks to compensate. I'm usually an 8.5 and I'm sure going down a size would have been too small, so keep to your normal shoe size +.

Excellent boots; very functional but incredibly comfortable. I really like the ease of getting into the boots as well as the ability to slip them off just as easily. The boots are well made and grip well on most surfaces but do not have deep welly boot soles so l am not sure about traction in thick mud. They wash easily and are completely waterproof. These boots are great and if, as l suspect, they wear well they are a superb investment. At the moment, l will not be without them.

My previous pair of Muck Boots were a different style and lasted me over 7 years of regular use before splitting on the top surface near the toes. The new ones are lighter and possibly more comfortable and if they last as long as their predecessors, I shall have nothing to complain about.

I'm a UK size 8.5 male. Ordered up to UK 9.0 and wear these for domestic garden work with a thick hiking type sock - result? Excellent! Particularly happy with the ability to remove easily.
Well worth the investment and will probably consider the full-length boot version before too long.

They are easy to get on and off, comfortable and warm. Generous sizing, saw other reviews that said drop a size from normal. I did and they fit great. Once you have worn they for a couple of hours they adjust they your feet.

Best boots for gardening.
I wish I had learned of Muck Boots years ago as these are the most comfortable, sturdy and easy to get on and off outdoor work footwear I have owned over 35 yrs of gardening. I have wide feet and in one boot I need to wear a heel raise and these boots easily accommodate this without the other boot being too loose, as can be the case. My partner is sick of me saying 'I love these boots' every time I put them on or take them off. Due to the recent rubbish rainy weather half of my garden is a bog but with these boots I have comfortably squelched around dry and warm. As I was so impressed we got some for my father who also thinks they are great. I will be getting some of your tall boots for walking very soon.

Great boot overall. Warm, comfortable, and easy to put on with one hand. Only improvement I would make is to make the read more aggressive. Tends to be a slippery boot in slush or frosty conditions . That was the only disappointment.

Surprised by the fit to wide foot
I have been searching for a low cut boot to replace a pair that I bought from Lee Valley ( I believe they were a German brand) and wore for several years. I wear a wide fit and have had difficulty finding something in 9W. In reading the description of the Muckster II on the Muckster website, it said that they are only sold in standard widths, but that they would stretch to fit and conform to a wide foot. I was skeptical, but decided to give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the fit. I have been using them daily for about a week now. While they did stretch to fit my feet, at first they felt a little snug in the mid-foot area. A couple of days later, it became less noticeable. Now, I am completely satisfied by the fit and comfort. These are my go to boots for outdoor work, walking the dog and working in my garage.

I'm pleased with my purchase so far, but as it's only a couple of weeks since I bought it, I don't want to commit myself on the quality. I've bought expensive boots before (not Muck) and disappointed when they have split after a couple of months. Having said that, the service was very good, the boots seem to be good quality and are comfortable, well padded and will be warm during the colder months, Also very easy to slip on and off. I use them in the garden and for dog walking. These were highly recommended by a neighbour who uses this brand all the time.
